DIGITALIZATION AND SUSTAINABILITY – NEW ENVIRONMENT FOR ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the international conference “Digitalization and sustainability – new environment for economics and business”, organized on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business, from 15 to 17 September 2022.

The conference will be held in person.

About the organizer

The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business was founded in 1937. Today it is one of the leading higher education and research institutions in the field of economics, business, and quantitative analysis in South-Eastern Europe, awarded with national accreditation, EFMD programme accreditation, and ACCA professional accreditation. With more than seven thousand students and 120 faculty, our school stands for a student-centric environment, providing outstanding learning, research, practice and engagement experience for future aspiring employable leaders, capable of resolving complex economic and business challenges in a real-world setting. The University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business offers numerous bachelor, master, and PhD programmes in economics, business, and quantitative analysis, taught in Serbian and in English.

Main conference topic

Sustainability and digital transformation stand for the two global trends that reshape the paradigm of contemporary societies, businesses and economic systems. These global trends open new opportunities but also impose new constraints. In that respect, our conference welcomes submissions in economics, business management, and quantitative analysis, which directly and indirectly are dealing with the issues and challenges associated with the new framework for economic and business policymaking and implementation.

An important accompanying event of the Conference will be the exhibition “Vienna Circle – Exact Thinking in Demented Times” and the workshop “Vienna Circle and Belgrade School of Logic“, a satellite session of our Conference. The exhibition, which has already been displayed in Vienna, Prague, and Warsaw, will be opened on the first day of the conference in September at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics and Business, on the occasion of the meeting of the Board of CircleU. Alliance.
